The ADCC East Coast Trials is one of the major qualifying events for the ADCC World Championship. Competitors from across the eastern United States come to test themselves against the best.
How Trials Work
Unlike the invitation-only World Championship, ADCC Trials are open to all competitors. Here's what you need to know:
- Open Registration: Anyone can register
- Win and Advance: First place earns ADCC Worlds invitation
- ADCC Rules: Same ruleset as the World Championship
Weight Classes
Men's and Women's divisions mirror the World Championship weights:
Men
- 66 kg, 77 kg, 88 kg, 99 kg, 99+ kg
Women
- 60 kg, 60+ kg
The Competition Level
